    Application for a credit can be done online. Online application provides you with convenience of being able to apply from the comfort of your home and at any time of the day.

    Online application can be done by following steps;

    1. Visit the Absa website (www.absa.co.za) and click on the Apply now button under the credit cards section. Click here to go there
    2. On the Online Account Application page, enter the characters as displayed in the image
    3. Please complete the six-step assessment
    4. You may Save and continue later, or Continue at each stage of your assessment
    5. Click Apply when you have completed your assessment

    Alternative ways to apply are by filling the contact me form where you submit you contact details and a consultant will contact you.

    Also, application can be done telephonically by calling 0860 553 553.

    Absa Credit Card Limit Increase

    Sometimes you might wish to increase / decrease the limit on your card or do a card upgrade. If this is the case, do not stress at all as the process is very simple.

    To upgrade your credit card, you can simply call Absa directly on 0861 114 411 and a consultant will assist you with the process.

    For a limit increase you can visit Absa Online banking, apply on the Absa App, or visit your nearest branch.

    To apply for a limit decrease, call the number at the back of your card.
